The thinking before the build…Integrated design, engineering, and program management support.

Interstate Industries is a leading producer of specialty electrical transfer systems for both OE and aftermarket applications. We recognize the importance of integrated design engineering which fully employs computer aided design (CAD) and common sense procedures such as design for assembly (DFA) and design for manufacturing (DFM). Our technical team provides total program management support and the flexibility to effectively respond to our customer needs rapidly. We work closely with customer engineers and designers from concept to final manufacture in order to develop the appropriate electrical transfer system, to provide the optimal solution in terms of performance, total cost, and reliability. New designs are thoroughly tested—first by computer analysis, then with prototypes fabricated for design verification and, finally, in the product itself. Nothing is left to chance—and nothing is finalized until our customer is completely satisfied.

Our products always work "behind the scenes." Despite their importance to the overall functioning of the end product, they are always placed out of sight—behind panels, under moldings, up in instrumentation panels and headliners—always hidden from the end customer.
